Student Activities Sponsors Movie Trip

Student Activities and the History Department will be sponsoring a special outing for our students this Friday. We will be taking them to see the Academy Award nominated film, “The Imitation Game,” at the Cinemark Theater in Webster. This film recounts the life of computer scientist Alan Turing, who along with his team, developed the computer that helped the allies break the Enigma code during World Word II.

Right after the movie Chris Chance will lead a discussion with students about Turing and his interesting and tragic life.

This event is free for students. We will provide transportation, movie tickets, popcorn and sodas. We do ask that students RSVP by either stopping by the Student Activities Office or emailing us at so we can get a headcount.
