All Alvin Community College students gain free entry on April 16 with a current student identification card and are permitted to bring one additional guest. On Friday, April 18, tickets are just $5 for students and general admission.

(Note: There will be no media availability on Wednesday, April 16. This game is not open to the general public.)

All Skeeters season ticket holders are invited to attend both games free of charge and must check in with the Skeeters box office upon arrival.

Led by Head Baseball Coach Bryan Alexander, Alvin Community College Baseball is having another strong year after reaching the finals in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region 14 finals in 2013. The team currently boasts a 28-8 record.

“I’m really excited to have this opportunity to play a professional team in an amazing stadium,” said Alexander. “It’s not every day that you have that kind of opportunity.”

The Skeeters welcome the Lancaster Barnstormers on Thursday, April 24 through Sunday, April 27 for Opening Weekend at Constellation Field. Last season, the club captured an Atlantic League record 95 wins and made their debut in Atlantic League postseason playoffs in just their second season. The Skeeters are headed by former Major Leaguer Gary Gaetti, who took home Atlantic League Manager of the Year honors following the team’s success in 2013.

“We appreciate Alvin Community College making the trip to come and play us,” said Gaetti. “These games will serve as a valuable tune up for our team and I’m just happy to have Skeeters baseball back at Constellation Field.”
