Renting Puppies

Alvin Community Colleges students are getting some puppy love by renting puppies outside the Student Center today.

For $1, students can wrestle, cuddle and pet a puppy for up to 20 minutes. The rentals were set up as a way to help ACC students deal with the stress of finals.

Proceeds go towards the college Student Ambassador program.

The puppies were supplied by the Pearland Animal Control shelter. While they were rented during the day, they also were up for adoption for $100. The costs included ID chip, vaccinations and more.

Visit the Pearland Animal Control website to learn more about the puppies and for information about adoption.

This is the neatest idea. I'm sure the puppies loved it, too. Do more of this.
